Solution. "There is a solution! Thanks to SamaelShih, it has been figured out that TabletInputService forces FarCry3.exe to crash, when enabled. To solve the crash problem: 1) Open Task Manager. 2) Go to Services. 3) Identify TabletInputService (Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service) 4) Stop the service. Like the title says. I plug my headphones up, and the sound is still coming from the built in speakers on my laptop. When I pull up my system volume controller with Far Cry 3 open, and drop down to headphones, the only thing that I have access to under the application section is the Uplay application. Tried everything I can think of, and playing over laptop speakers isn't an option. Any and First thing to do is to download and install this and audio issue will be fixes. Sound still not working ? Then you need to be sure that you have latest sound audio driver installed first. How to see if the driver is latest ? Follow the guide from bellow. Also if the sound driver is good, you need to set The sample rate and bit depth for sound At first I thought was just the voice audio but now It seems like the cutscene itself is delayed; I hear the audio before a character speaks/right before they perform an action. For example, in the cutscene I just watched one of the Seeds was using a stapler. I was able to hear them staple things and slam the stapler on the table, before they I found an archive called "sound_english.fat" in C:\Program Files(x86)\Ubisoft\FarCry 3\data_win32 but have been unable to open it. I'm looking specifically for the music in the background of this part (minor spoilers, though fairly early in the game) I've checked, and it is not on the soundtrack. I have Far Cry 3 working smoothly on another PC, having Windows 10 32-bit, also updated from 8.1. Problem is related to DirectX audio file, xaudio2_7.dll, possibly because of its incompatibility with a new OS. Disabling Realtek Audio (or any other sound driver) will remove crash, but you play silent. Not a solution. Farcry 3 problems (sound issues) i recently installed one of my favorite old games, far cry three, the graphics look amazing 1080 p medium works fine. however the audio is clicking about every secondconstant clicking making it unplayable with audio. has anyone encountered clicking noises with direct x 11 games and if so any idea how to fix I'm playing the 360 version, I'm only about half an hour in and most of the voice acting just seems not quite right. It sounds kind of tinny and far off, like I'm hearing it out of a Wiimote speaker. I noticed the problem while moving through the camp, caught hints of it with Jason and Grant talking, got a little from Vaas. Hey guys, so, one week ago I managed to get my hands on Far Cry 3 original sound file, that contains all audio files, including music. So I thought I should release Far Cry 3 Unreleased Music Soundtrack, because the original soundtrack by Brian Tyler has alot of tracks missing. So,If you love this game and its music, you should check it out! It only says 16 bit 48000, and 19 bit 44100. If there is anyone that understands this issue please let me know. Try lowering the volume to half through the system tray and increase the volume on your headphones/speakers to compensate. It sounds like your PC's audio signal is too loud for your audio receiver to handle. RmaZz.
